Our Business Areas

MMD Central GmbH is an investment and holding company based in Hamburg. Under its umbrella, companies from a range of industries are managed and developed. The focus is on building viable business models, the targeted development of existing holdings and the opening up of new investment and business opportunities.

The holding company is responsible for the strategic direction of the group, coordinates investment decisions and supports its companies in their organisational and economic development. Operational business lies with the respective companies and their responsible managers.

Our Business Segments

01 | Construction & Building Execution

Planning, coordination and execution of construction projects in new builds and the refurbishment of existing buildings. The focus is on professional implementation, reliable project workflows and adherence to agreed quality, cost and schedule targets.

02 | Real Estate & Project Development

Identification and assessment of real estate potential, development of suitable usage concepts, and economic evaluation and support of real estate projects.

03 | Investments & Holdings

Assessment of investment opportunities, acquisition and management of holdings, and strategic development of companies and assets.

04 | Hotels & Hospitality

Development of business models in the hotel and hospitality industry. The focus is on location and concept development, operational organisation and economically sustainable operation.

05 | International Trade – Import & Export

Building and maintaining international business relationships, opening up procurement and sales markets, and developing import and export activities in selected product areas.

06 | Gastronomy & Food & Beverage

Development and operation of gastronomy businesses, particularly in the café and bakery segment. Activities include the conception, set-up and further development of gastronomy operations.

07 | Business Development & Management

Founding, building and further developing companies within the group. This includes the development of business models, the design of organisational and management structures, and the financial management of the holdings.

Our Entrepreneurial Approach

MMD Central GmbH pursues a long-term investment approach. The companies in the group are managed in line with the requirements of their respective markets and have clearly defined operational responsibilities.

At holding level, overarching objectives are set, investments are coordinated and the economic development of the holdings is supported. Where it makes sense, expertise and resources are pooled within the group.

The aim is to build an economically stable group of companies whose businesses operate successfully on their own and can continue to develop over the long term.
